We are thrilled to announce the agenda for our March 25th membership meeting. The Executive Board will announce our organizing plan for 2015, which aims to ensure that the AAPI community is a critical voting block for the Democratic Party in 2016. Join us in mobilizing the AAPI community towards Democratic ideals!
Additionally, our guest speakers will be representatives from the Climate Action Campaign. They will educate and engage us around the Climate Action Plan, which is a legally enforceable document which sets out goals for the following: (1) energy and water efficient buildings; (2) clean and renewable energy; (3) biking, walking and transit; (4) zero waste; (5) climate resiliency. Please note this meeting will be at a NEW location, which is at Filipino Food and Bakery.

Las Mañanitas Breakfast
The AAPI Dems are purchasing a table at the annual Cesar Chavez Birthday celebration:
Friday, March 27, 2015
7:00am to 9:00am
Jacobs Center, 404 Euclid Ave, San Diego, CA 92114.
This year, John Armington, son of Filipino Delano grape worker leader Bob Armington of 1965 strike, will be speaking as a part of the breakfast program. John also worked in the fields, is a UCSD grad, and an attorney with great recall and stories. Besides representing those who began the strike (his dad made the historic motion to strike against the grape growers), he will also be informing the breakfast participants that 2015 is the 50-year anniversary of the strike, and the importance of the legacy.
We hope you can join us! Thanks to a generous anonymous donation, tickets to attend for our members will only cost $25. We have 4 more seats available at our table and they will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. If you would like to attend, please email Matt Yagyagan at firstname.lastname@example.org.
